James Fall is a working Multi-Instrumentalist, MD, Arranger, and Composer based in Los Angeles, California.
As a composer, James has created the soundtracks for video games “Andy’s Donuts” and “Dynamo”, as well as numerous short films and animations. He has also created arrangements and original songs for various artists that he has worked with as an Arranger and MD.

As a working musician, James helps people make art with Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Keyboards, Lapsteel Guitar, Mandolin, Backing Vocals, and Playback Engineering. He has toured nationally for various artists including Chad Tepper and Sophie's Body. James is a Guitar lessons leader at the Institute of Art, Music, and Science in Bellflower, CA. James plays locally in Los Angeles with many different artists of varying styles at live shows and recording sessions. He specializes in genres like indie-folk, jazz, pop, and rock. He has contributed to the musical careers of artists such as Chad Tepper (Epitaph Records), Judah Dylan, Pseudo, AYISA, Dakota Cohen (American Idol), and Maya Rae (from Tiny Habits) among many others. James' wide range of musical influences include Madison Cunningham, Julian Lage, Radiohead, Delta Sleep, Charli XCX, Chet Baker, Bill Frisell and Big Thief.
James received a DownBeat Magazine Award for playing guitar in Gordon Goodwin’s PhatHouse big band.

James is currently getting an undergraduate degree in Music Performance and Music Business with a minor in Psychology at Berklee College of Music, where he has made the dean's list every semester. He also briefly studied at Mt. San Antonio College and California Institute of the Arts.
